The touch panel used to make a beeping noise, but now it is silent?
Your Lux Therapy device is designed with adjustable touch panel volume control. The controls could have been accidentally placed into silent mode. Please refer to page 20 in your User Manual for instructions on changing your volume controls.
I've misplaced the screws to the positioning base, what do i do now?
Please refer to the additional accessories that were included with your original purchase. You will find that we included extra positioning base screws in case you have misplaced either of the original screws that were included. If need for extra screws, please contact our customer service department, and we'd be happy to provide you a solution.
Is it important to use the included items in the travel kit while I’m doing my treatment?
The travel kit is included as a way to improve your habits. We believe that routines will become habits when they are comfortable and enjoyable, and that is why at Lux Therapy our devices provide the most convenient and comfortable light therapy treatment solutions on the market. All of the the items in the kit have been carefully selected to create a wellness routine that will become a habit that you love.
How often do I need to use the device to see benefits?
We suggest using the device 3-5 times a week for the first few weeks of incorporating Red Light Therapy. Some benefits like increased melatonin will happen quicker than more internal mechanisms like hormone regulation and arthritis.
Does Red & Near Infrared Light Therapy ACTUALLY work?
Yes. Red & Near-Infrared Light therapy is a FDA approved treatment and is recognized as having benefits. FDA approves devices for safety, not efficacy.
What are the treatment guidelines and recommendations?
We suggest using the device 3-5 times a week for the first few weeks of incorporating Red Light Therapy. As your body becomes conditioned to the light, you will be able to use the light more. Note: Most treatments are 20 minutes or less, but depending on distance from your device?
How far from the device should I be when I begin treatment?
We recommend 6-12 inches from the light for simplified treatments. This provides a consistent, even application of the light. As you become more comfortable with understanding how your body responds to the light, you will be able to sit in front of the light for longer periods of time, at further distance. A great way to incorporate red light therapy is during meditation, or yoga. During the session, moving the light or repositioning your body helps provide all areas of your body with light therapy.
Can I use my existing skin care products with the light?
We recommend that you utilize the light after you have cleaned your skin of any ointments or serums. Products that can cause irritation or dryness like Retin-A, Vitamin A, Alcohol or benzoyl peroxide should only be used after using your light. Take your time and start slow if you have sensitive skin. Red Light therapy typically helps with these conditions, but should be slowly introduced to allow your body time to adapt to the new therapy method.
My Device isn’t working, what should I do?
First, disconnect the plug from any power source. Visually inspect the cables to make sure there are no damages. Next, double check the outlet that you plugged the device into and verify the outlet is receiving power. Now plug the device directly into a working wall outlet, verify the power switch on the back is in the on position. You should see the lights on the light panel illuminate. You are now ready to select your time, and treatment options. If the device is not working still, please contact customer support at [email protected]

2 Year Warranty. Don’t worry, whether you're in or out of warranty, we’re still on hand to help. Within two years of your purchase, if the device is not working properly due to a manufacturer’s defect, we will repair or replace it. Determination of the solution will be assessed on a case by case basis, and we will work to ensure you are up and running as quickly as possible. Returns

When returning a non-defective product, the customer is responsible for all shipping expenses. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Products must be returned in their original packaging with all original parts and accessories or the shipment will be refused by the warehouse. A refund will be issued after the product is received and inspected by Lux Therapy for damage or missing accessories. If the returned device is damaged or returned in an un-sellable condition, the shipment will be refused/returned to the sender. Applicable refunds will be applied to the payment method used in the original order.
